How We Run Projects

How We Run Projects

This page contains our distilled wisdom for bringing out the best in ourselves and our clients on a development project. We aim to be 100% transparent and highlight issues and omissions as early as possible in the development/design process. Note: On smaller projects with a tight brief we may only produce one quote, on larger projects there will be milestone payments through the development process as stages are completed.

Scope Creep - Variations in work

Scope creep or variations are a natural part of the development process. Requirements may change over time. If you have identified an enhancement then we need to know as soon as possible. The earlier we can process the variation the less impact is has on the overall work flow. Once the variation is costed and approved we will work it into or workflow or attend to it at the end of the project.

Its important to note that once the amount of variation exceeds 20% of the projects cost and/or time then that is a material change to the project scope and may require a re-quote. If this is the case then we will let you know as soon as possible and sit down with you to work things out.

The Tools

We strongly encourage customers to use the bug tracking tools provided. This ensures we have total visibility of outstanding issues, which helps us ship your product on time and on budget.
