Hello, Im Richard, Welcome to Teleport!

Teleport is my company. It was founded in 1997 to explore cool tech ideas and projects outside the scope of TheHUB - wayyy back in the day. Fast forward to 2009, TheHUB has gone, but Teleport lives on, going strong.

Today Teleport is working on cool projects like Handset Detection and helping to build and develop bring other peoples vision for web and mobile to life.

In 1995 Richard formed Hub Communications (aka TheHUB) an ISP, internet cafe, training and web consultancy which grew to 30 staff in its first 12 months and went on to win back to back Queensland IT&T Awards in ‘96 and ‘97.

Hub Communications was sold to Pacific Internet in January of 2000. Since that time Richard has traveled extensively in Asia and Europe and consulted in London.

In the last 5 years Richard’s broad technical skill set combined with management experience has seen him act as CTO, senior technical advisor and senior technical consultant.

Richard got out alive from Griffith University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Informatics.
